Methodology

Accurate Searches, Short Turnaround

Our primary objective is to conduct an accurate search, in a short turnaround time, at a reasonable cost. We test our research providers frequently and remove those who do not perform to our standards. Additionally, we send our researchers directly to the courthouse and do not use 'on-line' systems and/or databases that often have incomplete or inaccurate information. We do it differently with a focus on accuracy and do not offer the commodity of a 'cheap' search.

Due to the critical nature of the information we are retrieving, we must have quality researchers. Our initial phase of recruitment requires research providers to complete a detailed application to help us determine their efficiency. Potential researchers are then provided test names to ensure their accuracy in record reporting. On a monthly basis we generate progress reports on all researchers and review their turnaround times and performance quality. Providers who do not pass our quality standards do not continue to search records for us.

As active members of the National Association of Professional Background Screeners (NAPBS) we have helped develop standards and quality measures for the local courthouse research providers. As such, the majority of our researcher providers in the state of Georgia have successfully completed the NAPBS Courthouse Research Providers Exam so you can rest assured that with us, the accuracy of your request is paramount. We continue to work with other researchers in establishing individual NAPBS Certification.

The FRS platform allows us to receive requests and return results via e-mail, fax, website processing or XML technology. Companies with XML capabilities have a turnaround time that is on average 6 hours faster than our other clients. We have seen a marked decrease in human mistakes since we began electronic transmission of search results. If you have XML capabilities, please let us know so you can be set up accordingly.

We adhere to strong data security procedures on all levels and abide by the NAPBS Data Security Guidelines as a minimal level of required security. For a detailed listing of our standards, please contact us.

Our minimum criminal search depth is a 7 year misdemeanor/felony search using the Predominately Used Index at the Central Court. We do not search additional years unless requested, we do not report nor search traffic cases unless previously approved, and we do not return 'everything found' without adding additional fees (searching additional records, reviewing files, and writing up additional records is additional work whether it is readily available or not; if you want additional years, we will gladly search them if requested but with an additional fee). AKAs and maiden names are treated as an additional search.
